Tony usually replies within 1 to 2 hours, often sooner. Your stay is only booked once you have agreed your dates with Tony on WhatsApp and paid the 50% deposit. Until then the dates are not held for you.

Agree your dates with Tony on WhatsApp, then pay a 50% deposit to reserve them. You pay the balance at check-in. You can pay in cash or by M-Pesa. Payment is always arranged directly with the host, never on this website.

Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out is by 10:00. Early arrival or late departure is sometimes possible if your stay is free the night before or after. Ask the host on WhatsApp.

You can cancel for free, with your full deposit refunded, within 48 hours of your deposit being paid and your booking confirmed, as long as check-in is at least 7 days away. After those 48 hours, or if you book less than 7 days before check-in, the deposit is not refundable. For example, if you pay your deposit on 7 November for a stay starting 20 November, you can cancel for free until 9 November. Refunds are arranged directly with the host.

The T Cottage sleeps up to 6 guests in two bedrooms and the attic. The Rustic Studio Cabin sleeps 2. A larger group can request both, one request for each. Children of any age are welcome, but a cot is not available. Pets are allowed, as long as they remain under the owner's control and responsibility.

The farm is about 4 km from Othaya town in Nyeri County, roughly 110 km from Nairobi. The road is smooth tarmac all the way to the gate, so you do not need a 4x4. There is parking in the compound.

Yes. Both the cottage and the studio have Wi-Fi, electricity and hot showers.

Evenings in tea country can be cool, especially from June to August. The T Cottage has a wood fireplace and firewood is provided. Bring a warm layer.

Each stay is booked as a whole: the cottage and the studio are separate, self-catering places on the same farm. The property is gated and the area is secure, and a caretaker is on the property.

Yes. Guests have access to our 5-acre tea farm and its river frontage; please stay on the paths. Nearby you can hike the Kihuri trail in the Aberdares (5 km) and explore the falls, visit Chinga Dam (8 km), tour the Gura River and the Gura River Electricity Plant, or go bird watching at Wajee Park (20 minutes away). Visits to the nearby tea factory can be arranged with the host.

Both stays are self-catering: the cottage has a full kitchen and the studio a private kitchenette. Fresh farm produce is available straight from the garden. Othaya town, about 4 km away, has shops. A chef can be arranged at an extra fee.

No. The cottage and the studio are on a working farm and are meant for quiet stays. Parties and events are not allowed.
